As the founder and creative force behind Northern Lights Interior Designs, I offer a distinctive, human-centered approach shaped by my academic background in Gerontology and professional experience in Aging and Disability Services. This unique foundation informs a design perspective that honors the profound relationship between environment, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
My work is guided by the philosophy that exceptional interiors must transcend beauty alone—each space should be a seamless integration of elegance, intention, and livability. I specialize in creating refined, timeless environments that thoughtfully balance sophisticated aesthetics with purposeful design, ensuring every detail enhances both form and function.

With over 15 years of experience in festival and event coordination, Jule combines logistical expertise with a creative eye, ensuring that every event unfolds seamlessly and beautifully. Her background as a marketing executive for more than a decade adds an elevated understanding of brand identity, visual storytelling, and strategic planning—bringing clarity, cohesion, and polish to every project.

Our Philosophy
At Northern Lights Interior Designs our philosophy centers on purpose-driven interiors that balance simplicity with thoughtful detail, while creatively maximizing function and flow. By combining classic design foundations with refined simplicity, I create spaces that feel calm, curated, and enduring. Warm textures, natural light, and meaningful details transform each interior into a place that feels both elevated and lived-in. I draw continual inspiration from my home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin—the colors of sunrise and sunset stretching across the sky, the brilliance of the stars and northern lights, the reflective calm of the lakes, and the rich textures of the woods, trees, plants, flowers, and abundant wildlife. My goal is not simply to design beautiful rooms, but to craft environments that feel effortless and authentic—spaces that quietly reflect each client’s story.
