This small vacation home in Jupiter, Florida is designed as a vibrant, modern escape for a young, travel-driven creative inspired by nature, music, and bold self-expression. The interior blends contemporary living with expressive color, using saturated palettes, playful patterns, and eclectic yet intentional design moments to celebrate movement and individuality.
Balancing Gen Z–inspired boldness with functional planning, the space incorporates ergonomic, user-centered solutions tailored to the client’s tall stature, remote work lifestyle, and feline companions. Inspired by sunsets, national parks, and nightlife energy, the home serves as both a restorative retreat and a dynamic reflection of a life lived fully and colorfully.

Morning Light Kitchen
The Morning Light Kitchen is a conceptual residential kitchen study exploring the balance between functional simplicity and elevated everyday living. Inspired by Scandinavian warmth and modern Northwoods influences, the design emphasizes natural light, layered textures, and purposeful organization within a compact footprint.
Through thoughtful space planning, custom storage solutions, and refined material selections, the concept reimagines the kitchen as both a hardworking utility space and a calm gathering environment. Features such as open shelving, integrated work zones, stainless utility elements, and expansive windows were intentionally curated to support both beauty and livability.
This study reflects Northern Lights Interior Designs’ philosophy of creating timeless interiors that blend warmth, function, and authenticity—where thoughtful details transform daily routines into meaningful experiences.

Conceptual Design Study:
Luxury Bathroom
Inspired by the Four Elements of Nature—Wind/Air, Water, Earth, and Fire—The Inspired Luxury Bathroom was conceptualized as a restorative spa-inspired retreat centered on wellness, luxury, and sensory experience. The design integrates a private sauna, recessed drop-in soaking tub with a ceiling-mounted bath filler, natural stone quartzite, radiant heated flooring, a double-sided fireplace, smart shower technology, adaptive privacy glass, and layered lighting to create an immersive environment that feels tranquil, elevated, and deeply connected to nature. Drawing inspiration from the expressive artwork of Cher Pruys, the project balances organic movement, warmth, innovation, and timeless sophistication within a thoughtfully curated luxury bathroom experience.

Branded Modern Workplace
The Basso Commercial Design project was thoughtfully created for a marketing-driven workplace where brand identity, creativity, and collaboration shape the daily experience. Inspired by Basso’s visual identity, the interior integrates the company’s logo and signature branding colors throughout the space, creating a cohesive environment that reinforces both brand presence and workplace culture.
Designed to support employee well-being and work-life balance, the space also incorporates gaming and entertainment elements important to the Basso team. A multifunctional conference room features integrated high-performance gaming projectors and immersive sound systems, allowing the space to transition seamlessly between professional collaboration and team recreation. Bold branding accents, refined furnishings, and flexible workspace planning come together to create a dynamic environment that supports creativity, connection, and innovation.

Luxury Restorative Medical Environment
Northern Spine & Pain Institute was envisioned as a modern luxury pain clinic that redefines the traditional healthcare experience through hospitality-inspired design, restorative comfort, and patient-centered functionality. Drawing inspiration from the calming landscapes of Northern Wisconsin, the clinic integrates soft organic forms, layered lighting, biophilic elements, and a refined palette of deep navy, muted lilac, warm wood tones, and Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass accents.
The thoughtfully planned environment includes concierge-style reception services, a welcoming family lounge, integrated wellness coffee bar, private consultation offices, exam and procedure rooms, and collaborative clinical support spaces designed to enhance both patient experience and staff efficiency. Emphasizing accessibility, comfort, and emotional well-being, the design balances advanced medical functionality with the warmth and sophistication of a boutique hospitality environment.

Conceptual Design Study:
Aurora GX™
Aurora GX™ is a conceptual design study exploring how adaptive furniture can move beyond clinical aesthetics to create an immersive, empowering gaming experience for users of all abilities. Designed through the lens of universal design, the ADA-compliant gaming chair integrates ergonomic support, sensory-conscious considerations, and interactive gaming features within a bold, contemporary form inspired by modern gaming culture.
The project challenges traditional perceptions of adaptive seating by emphasizing dignity, inclusion, and self-expression—creating an experience where children, teens, and adults feel represented rather than defined by their physical needs. Through material exploration, ergonomic research, and conceptual prototyping, the study demonstrates how accessible design can be both functional and aspirational, blending immersive technology, emotional wellbeing, and inclusive design into a unified user experience.
