At Northern Lights Interior Designs, we offer a range of services to support your project at every stage—from initial concepts and space planning to full-service design and furnishing.

Whether you’re building from the ground up, remodeling an existing space, or simply refreshing a room, we can assist with selections such as cabinetry, lighting, finishes, furnishings, and décor. We work with both residential and small commercial spaces, with a special passion for creating environments that are welcoming, functional, and accessible for all—including older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers.

For remodels and larger projects, the design process is an important first step. Our detailed design plans help clearly communicate your vision, making it easier for contractors to provide accurate estimates and bring your space to life. While we are not general contractors, we’re happy to collaborate with your builder or help connect you with trusted professionals to support your project.

We also offer furniture and décor packages for projects that don’t require construction—perfect for vacation rentals, second homes, or simple refreshes. These packages are thoughtfully curated to reflect your style while maximizing comfort and functionality.

In addition, we provide event and seasonal décor services, including planning, set-up, and tear-down. Whether you're preparing for a special gathering, styling your home for the holidays, or bringing a fresh seasonal feel to your space, we take care of every detail so you can simply enjoy the moment.

Project timelines vary depending on the scope of work. While we strive to keep projects moving efficiently, availability of materials and labor can impact scheduling. We prioritize clear communication throughout the process to ensure expectations are aligned every step of the way.

We work in both residential and small commercial design; typically in the Hayward and surrounding areas. On occasion we design projects outside of Hayward and Wisconsin. Those projects require additional planning and logistics but are always exiting for the team.
